If I were a street, I would not be a cul-de-sac (I’d be a dirt road with endless lands on either side)

This show marked the end of a years long hiatus from exhibiting anything. I had never stopped making, but had taken a break of about ten years from exhibiting. This show was inspired by the claustrophobia of my life at the time, living in a little apartment at the end of a cul-de-sac with my partner at the time. It was feeling driven and experiments with combining hand embroidery with other materials used in daily life. It was shown first at Central Craft - Mparntwe, Alice Springs and then at Tactile Arts in Darwin
